Kevin is Crutes born and bred. He joined in 1978 and became a partner in 1985.
Kevin specialises in employment law in both the public and private sector, acting predominantly for employers and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. He is experienced in non-contentious matters such as drafting employment contracts and policies and advising upon business/service transfers and restructuring and the application and requirements of TUPE (with which he also deals in contentious matters). He also has an extensive contentious practice acting in all kinds of employment related claims. Kevin has a particular expertise in discrimination issues. As is the case with the other members of the unit, he undertakes his own advocacy at tribunal.
Kevin also has considerable experience of civil litigation acting for public sector organisations in employment and employment related issues, including obtaining injunctions in emergency situations.
Kevin is also part of the unit’s training and seminar programme delivering training and employment law updates for the firm’s clients.
