Paul is Reaping the Rewards
Crutes Law Firm has promoted Paul Nickalls to associate status. Paul has been with the firm since August 2008 and is based in their office in Stockton on Tees where he heads up the private client team. The firm is very keen to build upon the reputation that it has gained over many years for providing excellent private client services in Teesside and Paul is an integral part of their plans for the future.
Paul spent six years with Newcastle rival, Dickinson Dees, before joining Crutes and prior to that he worked for fellow regional firm Watson Burton.
Paul, who studied law in Norwich and Leiden in Holland, has a broad range of experience advising clients on preparing wills and the administration of estates. His experience was gained over several years advising some of the region’s wealthiest individuals.
Paul commented on his promotion “I am delighted to have been made an associate and I am grateful for the support that I have received from the entire firm”.
Stuart Hamilton, head of Crutes’ Private Client Department, commented: “Paul has only been with the firm since last August but during this time he has contributed a vast amount to the firm and to the team. He is focused on strengthening the firm’s positioning in a difficult marketplace and it, therefore, gives us great pleasure to see this contribution rewarded. We would like to go on record and thank Paul for all his hard work and commitment since he joined.
“He is a huge asset to our team and we look forward to working with him to expand the team’s offering in Teesside and across the region.”
Crutes has three offices in the region, in Newcastle, Teesside and Carlisle. It has become one of the region’s best-known legal firms, employing over 100 people, and acts for clients in the private and public sector as well as a large number of private individuals.
