New Partner for Crutes
Law Firm
Crutes Law Firm has appointed Sue Howes as partner. Sue has been with the firm
since 1992. Based in the firm’s Teesdale office, she acts for many of
the region’s local authorities in public liability and employers liability
claims including work for the emergency services. She also prosecutes
on behalf of local authorities in the Magistrates Court.
In addition, Sue is head of the firm’s expanding Housing Litigation
Unit and advises Registered Social Landlords and Arms Length Management
Organisations
regarding a range of tenancy enforcement issues. Only last month, the
Unit was again recognised by the Legal 500, as one of only three specialist
social housing practices in the region.
Helen Ager, Managing Partner, says: "Crutes
are delighted to recognise the talent and commitment that Sue has demonstrated
since joining the firm. Her drive and determination in leading the
office has paid dividends for the firm, as we continue to feature as
a major
force in the North East legal market.
