New Associate strengthens Crutes' Employment Unit
Crutes Law Firm has strengthened its Employment Unit by appointing employment specialist, David Gibson as an Associate.
David will work alongside Crutes’ Employment Unit Head, Kevin McKernan, advising Crutes’ clients in all legal aspects including the recruitment, management and termination of employees including maternity, paternity and flexible working provisions, fixed term and part-time workers issues, organisational change, discrimination issues and unfair and constructive dismissal.
David qualified in 1997 and has experience of acting for national and multi national firms. He specialises in all areas of employment law including, employment tribunal claims, TUPE and share transfers, advising clients in implementation of work-life balance projects including detailed advice on the provisions of Working Time Regulation.
A graduate of both Newcastle and Northumbria University, David spent the first five years of his career in the City and moved back to the North East in 2002 when he joined one of the other top law firms in the region.
