New Challenge for Top Legal Expert!

Crutes Law Firm is delighted to announce the promotion of Commercial Litigation expert Ranj Matharu to Manager of the Dispute Resolution department.

Ranj has been a partner with Crutes since December 2004 and has experience of high value claims, in particular acting in connection with Freezing Orders and other forms of injunctions.

Helen Ager, Managing Partner says, “Ranj is the obvious choice for this role having acquired Higher Rights of Audience in the Civil Courts”.

Working alongside fellow senior litigators, Tom Whitfield, Michael Robson and Alison Shepherd she will take on a supervisory role allocating work and offering advice to the team members. She will continue to act directly for individuals, directors and companies on commercial disputes.

Ranj says, “Crutes has undergone a major transformation in the last year and to be offered the opportunity to develop and expand this department is flattering. The team of people I work with know exactly what our clients need and want and I am sure that we will continue to grow from strength to strength “.

Prior to joining Crutes, Ranj spent four years with a niche North East practice where she headed up the licensing department whilst Commercial Litigation has always been her true passion. She is well placed in the commercial market having a valuable insight to Crutes increasing commercial client base.

Historically known for its insurance litigation work, Crutes has expanded its practice over the past five years and now offers advice to commercial and private client marketplaces. During this time the Firm has grown by 41% and strategic plans for the future will see continued growth and expansion
