From Office Junior to Solicitor - The Hard Way!

David Foster is the latest fee earner at Crutes Law Firm to qualify as a solicitor.

David, originally from South Shields, joined Crutes as an office junior in 1993 before studying at Newcastle College to become a qualified legal executive. Over the last two years he has been attending a part time LPC course at Northumbria University.

David works in the Public Services Department with partners Stephen Crute and Rod Searl, defending personal injury claims made against many of the local authorities in the North East. He also represents police forces in relation to civil claims made against them. Such claims include claims for wrongful arrest and malicious prosecution, as well as general personal injury work.

David says, “I am pleased to have finally qualified after many years of studying and I look forward to working in my new role at Crutes”.

Historically known for its insurance litigation work, Crutes has expanded its practice over the past five years and now offers advice to commercial and private client marketplaces. During this time the Firm has grown by 41% and strategic plans for the future will see continued growth and expansion.
