New addition to Commercial Property Department

Crutes Law Firm continues to expand with the appointment of graduate paralegal, Ellie Christie.

Ellie, originally from Salisbury, joined Crutes after graduating from Northumbria University and completing a degree in Business Management and Marketing. Working in the Commercial Property Department, part of Ellie’s role will be undertaking land sales, commercial leases and local authority right to buy sales. She will work along side Partners, Stuart Palmer, Paul Earnshaw and Paul Bell.

Ellie will continue with her studies and hopes to become a qualified solicitor.

After graduating, Ellie decided to stay in the region and has married a local man whom she met whilst travelling in Australia. She says “Living in the north east has given me the best of both worlds. Newcastle is such a vibrant city whilst the beautiful Northumberland countryside is within easy access”.

Ellie says of joining Crutes, “I’m excited to have joined such an excellent and reputable firm of solicitors in order to fulfil my ambition of becoming a solicitor”.

Crutes has seen a 20% increase in staff over the last 12 months and even more ambitious plans for the coming year.

It continues to be named as one of the top law firms in the Legal 500 and has recently been named in the Rising 50 law firms in The Lawyer Magazine.
