Top Commercial Lawyer joins Crutes Law Firm Commercial Lawyer, David Hunter has joined Crutes Law Firm as part of its strategy for continued diversification and growth in the North of England.
David brings with him extensive experience from both international and top regional law firms. In addition to commercial law, David specialises in regulatory and compliance matters, in particular in the area of e-commerce.
David will be based at the new purpose built Crutes House on Teesdale Park, and will work alongside Commercial Property Partner, Gareth Jones.
David Hunter says “Having spent most of my personal and professional life in Teesside I am very pleased to be joining a firm which has similar commitment to the region. Crutes has demonstrated its commitment to the area by investing in the new office at Teesdale Park”.

At his previous firm David, amongst other things, acted on behalf of a premier league football team in ensuring it met its statutory and regulatory obligations in operating its website, in trading online and in its other electronic activities.
Crutes has seen a 20% increase in staff over the last 12 months and even more ambitious plans for the next coming year.
It continues to be named as one of the top law firms in the Legal 500 and has recently been named in the Rising 50 law firms in The Lawyer Magazine.
Crutes has offices in Teesside, Newcastle and Carlisle. It employs over 200 staff with 23 partners.
