Crutes Welcomes New Team Member

One of the region’s leading law firms has welcomed a new member to its ever-growing team.

Crutes Law Firm, which has offices in Newcastle, Carlisle and Middlesbrough, has appointed Joanne Renwick who will work in the newly-created post of Systems Accountant in its city centre head office in Newcastle.

Joanne, who is 26, and from Newcastle, graduated with an Accountancy degree from the University of Northumbria in 1999. From there she went on to work as a Management Accountant at stairlift manufacturer Bison Bede before taking up her new post at Crutes.

She said: “This is a brand new post at Crutes and it was created in response to an increasing client demand for management information and reporting.

“My role will be to meet and identify the need for greater management information and financial management support for partners.

“This is a role I’m really looking forward to and because it is brand new it will be even more of a challenge.”

In her spare time Joanne enjoys learning Spanish, watching football and swimming.

Danny Davison, Human Resources Manager at Crutes, said: “We are delighted to welcome Joanne to the team at Crutes. The practice is expanding all the time and we are regularly creating positions to meet new demands the growing business requires.”
