Crutes Welcomes New Team Member
August 2004
ONE of the North’s leading law firms has welcomed a new member into the non-contentious team.
Solicitor Gaynor Wragg from Wigton had been working as a sole practitioner with her own practice. She joined Crutes Mounseys in Carlisle as a consultant in February. Gaynor trained with a major London firm and has been practicing law in the Carlisle area since 1989.
She has now been invited to join Crutes Mounseys, which has offices in Castle Street, Carlisle.
Gaynor, 41, said: “I have been practicing as a sole practitioner for five years. I work on all non-contentious law such as commercial property and business law, along with conveyancing and private client work too.
“I became a consultant for Crutes Mounseys in February and have now been asked to join the firm. I will be bringing clients that I have worked with previously to the firm.
“I enjoy working at the firm, and find that I am very much enjoying being part of the team.”
In her spare time Gaynor, who studied Law at Oxford, enjoys music, squash, tennis and fell walking.
Tim Wallis, Chairman of Crutes Mounseys, said: “Since the merger of Crutes and Mounseys at the beginning of the year, this firm has gone from strength to strength. Gaynor is a most welcome additional to the team and we are delighted to welcome her to the firm.”
Crutes Law Firm, one of the largest practices in the North of England, merged with Mounseys, one of the oldest firms in Carlisle, at the start of the year.
Crutes Mounseys has a large and growing private client department and there is a great demand for legal advice on estate planning and wealth management.
