August 2004

One of the region’s leading law firms has welcomed a new staff member to its ever-growing team.

Crutes Law Firm, which has offices in Newcastle, Carlisle and Middlesbrough, has appointed Allison Jurgens as a Team Manager in its Norwich Union Fast Track team.

Allison, 33, who is from Sunderland, is based in the firm’s city center offices at Great North House in Sandyford Road. The mother-of-two over-sees the team of 11 who work on liability claims up to £15,000.

Previously Allison worked at Norwich Union, where she was a team manager for the personal injury team.

She said: “I am really enjoying this role at Crutes, I am really enjoying learning the technical aspects of my job and I like the challenges the job offers me.

“Previously I was not involved in much litigation, and now I am learning every day. The team have made me feel really welcome.”

Danny Davison, Human Resources Manager at Crutes, said: “We are delighted to welcome Allison to the team at Crutes. The insurance side of our business is a very important one for the firm.”

Crutes is a multi-site practice which has grown steadily over recent years and employs 160 staff with 18 partners.
