Crutes in National Rising 50 Law Firms
December 2004
Crutes Law Firm has been named as one of the country’s rising 50 law firms in a prestigious magazine.
The North-East and Cumbria based firm, which has offices in Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Carlisle, was placed in The Lawyer’s Rising 50 List.
This is the first year Crutes has been included on the list. Inclusion in the list is based on turnover, revenue per partner and per lawyer.
Tim Wallis, Chairman of Crutes Law Firm, said: “This year has been a very exciting one for Crutes. We have merged with two other firms, Mounseys in Carlisle and Dobermans in Middlesbrough, we have grown extensively in size and now have 22 partners.
“We have continued to be recognized as leaders in our main fields of business including business services, defendant insurance litigation, commercial property and public sector.
”And our private client side has also grown dramatically. To have our achievements recognized in such a prestigious list as this is very pleasing for the whole firm, and we hope to improve upon this in the coming year.”
Crutes is a multi-site practice, with offices in Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Carlisle, which has grown steadily over recent years. It employs 160 staff with 22 partners.
